Huge well done to all of the children who competed in the gymnastics competition at William Howard school yesterday. You all made us very proud. Your determination to improve and keep those toes pointed is admirable. I will hopefully receive the results later today and I will post them when I do.
Thanks must go to Miss Cook and Mrs Bouch for working with the Y34 and Y2 children and also to Mrs Foster who did an hour long hair plaiting stint! Your help is much appreciated. Finally, to all of the parents and family who came to the competition to support their children. It was a great afternoon.
I have the results....
It was a win for the Year 2 team in the Key Steps One competition and a win for the Year 5 & 6 team in the Key Steps Three competition. Unfortunately, the Year 3 & 4 team just missed out and they're already keen to give it another go next year.
The winning teams will now go forward to the next round of competition which is on Wednesday 28th February at Carlisle Gym Club in Morton Central Academy.
I must give Harley Dodd (year 5) a special mention as he is new to gymnastics this year and he achieved the highest floor, vault and combined score of all of the Brampton children competing - well done Harley!
