If you are off school due to reasons relating to Covid-19, please use the icons below to guide you to some home learning activities for your child's year group.
Please use the Class Dojo to communicate with your child's class teacher and to upload any work for them to assess. Thank you.
Stick to a routine!
Keeping sleep routines regular (10-11 hours each night) will support positive mental and physical wellbeing. Plan your days with time for work and play. This will help everyone to stay positive, calm and productive.
Create a suitable workspace!
Find a space to complete the tasks with all the resources you are likely to need nearby and minimize the number of distractions.
Take regular breaks!
Try to break the learning into chunks and take regular breaks in between. Eat healthy food and stay hydrated.
If you are isolating, this may be difficult. Get outside and use the garden or find an online exercise routine to follow as part of your daily routine. Joe Wicks still has a huge back catalogue of routines from lockdown to try.
Children will be more positive if we are positive with them. Use rewards and praise to celebrate the children's efforts with the tasks they have been set. Remember to upload evidence to the Class Dojo so that your child's class teacher can do the same!
