We are delighted to be able to offer two bicycle maintenance workshops to our children this half term. We currently have space for 5 more children to take part so we are extending the offer to Year 4.
Dann from Bike7 Cycle Service has agreed to support a group of 10 children over two sessions to understand the different components of the bicycle, learn about the M-check principle and learn how to fix a puncture. They will also receive some freebies and handouts to support any bicycle maintenance work they need to do in the future.
This will be a great opportunity for any children who have a bicycle that needs some attention to get it road ready ahead of the Bikeability training. It will also be great for any children who are regular cyclists to learn about how to look after their own bike.
Children will be expected to attend both sessions on Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th of January between 5pm and 6pm and an adult must attend with them. The sessions are both free and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Obviously, they will be expected to bring their bike along too!
Please contact school today if you are interested in taking part.
