KS2 Netball Competition

Yesterday (Tuesday 25th September 2018) our netball team took part in the Annual KS2 Netball Tournament at William Howard School. The sun was almost shining and we were all in good spirits. We had one team taking part in the competition and all of the children tried their best and played really well. The children played four games and points were awarded for each game. The children won 3 of their 4 games and had a no score draw in their game against Fir Ends. This meant we finished with 18 points – the same as Fir Ends so the number of goals scored were counted up and we were equal on goals too. So the only way to separate us was on conceded goals – we had 1 and they had 0 so we were beaten into 2nd place by the finest of margins. It was a super tournament with lots of good netball being played.

A great day was had by all and yet again the children of Brampton Primary School did our school proud.

The team: Owen Wilkinson, Harley Dodd, Harrison Reynolds, Summer Wharton, Amber Thompson, Kelsey Timmons, Kenzie Ridpath, Amy Gray and Michaela Tait.
