Today we held a Ten Pieces assembly to celebrate BBC Music Day! We listened and responded to ‘Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams’ and ‘The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams’. Following this, the children and staff competed in a musical cracker challenge where each musician played a single note. The staff and children worked together to create a tune using the different pitched whistles. Finally, to end our assembly, year 3 and 4 treated us to a fabulous rendition of ‘Change the world a little every day’ with Makaton signing. Well done Brampton Primary School and thank you to all the children and staff that took part.
