Sports Week 2015
This week is our annual Sports Week and so far this week we have been incredibly busy! We opened the week with a version of, ‘A Question of Sport’ where the whole school were divided into two teams and answered lots of sport themed questions, thank you Mr Armstrong who was a good stand in for Sue Barker!
Following this introduction to our week, the children have been taking part in lots of PE sessions and trying out lots of different sports and games. Tuesday was an incredibly busy day! Lots of children were again completing sporty activities and others were busy putting on a ‘School Sport Montage’ at the Sands Centre for the ‘U Can Shine’ Awards.
Thankfully Wednesday’s weather was on our side and we were able to hold the traditional EYFS/KS1 and KS2 Sports Days. It was great to see the children enjoying the events on offer and to have so many parents watching and supporting their children. Well done to all of the children who took part and a special thank you to the year 6 children who kindly helped with the morning session.
The ‘house’ t-shirts designed by Charlie and Layla Beales are amazing! Have a look at some of our photographs.
