Well done to our Rounders Teams!

On Friday 3rd July 2015, three teams of children attended the annual Rounders Tournament at William Howard School. The children played some fantastic rounders and achieved lots of good results. The fielding ability of our children was much admired by all who watched them play – lots of good ‘triangles’ in action!

Team 1 won all of their games and progressed through to the final and then faced their toughest game of the tournament, with a few nerves creating a few small mistakes, but they were able to hold their own and WON the large schools tournament, huge well done to the team which included: DJ Taylor, Jack Mitchelson, Jack Morris, Toby Emerson, Declan Gordon, Georgia Earl, Emily Siddle, Ruby Noble and Erin Goodchild.

Team 2 were 2nd in their group and were Runners-up in their semi-final against the Brampton 1st team! The team included: William Siddle, James Barker, Joshua Bell, Andy Hall, Tyler Falder, Poppi Bowe, Katy Mitchinson, Regan Smales and Alisha Thompson.

Team 3 finished 3rd in their group and then they beat Warwick Bridge in their game for 3rd place a super achievement for them all – they put on a great display with their batting, well done. The team included: Jake Dodd, Tyler Paterson, Ryan Reid, Jamie Griffiths, Ethan Todd, Alicia Hutcheson, Ariane Grieves, Madeleine Giecco and Millie Ross.

Both Miss Miller and I were very proud of all of the children. They played very well and adhered to the rules of the game without a fuss, well done to you all. Yet another good day out for the children of Brampton Primary School!
