We were very lucky in Year 6 to have a visit from local artist Gill Naylor yesterday morning. She talked to us about the excessive use of plastic packaging at present and how it is negatively affecting the environment. She also made us realise that it will be our generation who make the decisions about 'changing the pattern' of our recycling behaviours.
To reflect this, we created a collaborative piece of art, using recyclable plastics to draw round and fill with patterns.
We can't wait to find a new home for it and hopefully inspire others to make a change for the future.
